sink for sale! [Mar. 17th, 2009|10:26 pm]
Brissy Bargains

Hey! Does anyone want to buy a sink? We renovated our kitchen and we bought this sink on sale at the good guys without considering if it would fit in our bench and sure enough it was too big. It's a Lakeland LL137 1+3/4 R/H Bowl 1 Tap Hole - DIMENSIONS 1080mm Long X 480mm Wide and it looks like this:

and it comes with those waste basket/plug thingies that you push down to seal the plug and stops any food scraps etc getting down your drain.

I've unsuccessfully listed in on ebay, so at this point we're accepting any reasonable offer, because it's sitting in our loungeroom making the place look messy. Pickup from Northside!

Westinghouse frost free fridge / freezer for sale. [Feb. 8th, 2009|10:05 am]

As the title suggests, I am selling my Westinghouse RJ390M 2d fan frost free fridge / freezer on EBay.

It has lasted me for a few years and has been absolutely 100% without fault. Easily the best fridge / freezer I have owned. I am [regretfully] selling due to the fact that the house I moved into already has one and the cubby hole in the kitchen is too small for this one.

I have listed the start price as $100, pick up only from Hawthorne Brisbane.

My Small Business [Feb. 1st, 2009|07:31 am]
Brissy Bargains

Hey all, I run a small business called Kittycat Corsets.

I make steel boned corsets, in a multiple of different shapes and sizes, and use almost any fabric you can think of.

They are great for formals, weddings, the bedroom for a little extra spice, and of course Alternative clubbing outfits.

You can find ready made stuff at my Etsy - http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6516552 or at Puritan in Fortitude Valley (693 Ann Street)

If you have something specific in mind, have a look at my website http://www.kittycatcorsets.com where you can find all the different styles i make, and a link to my quote form.

here's the latest photo of one of my corsets to come out of the amazing Kate O'brien's Studio

(while i'm at it, this is a plug for her as well, so check her out at http://www.kateobriencreative.com )

Free Tickets to the Performing Arts [May. 24th, 2008|03:06 pm]
Brissy Bargains

[Tags|, , , ]

Hey guys,

I just came across Test Drive the Arts, which is encouraging people to support the performing arts by giving out free double passes. There's a number of plays, concerts and dances listed on the website now. They'll be listing more in the future too if you don't see anything you like.

The only catches are you can't have been to a performance at the venue in the past 3 years, you have to fill in a form to give feedback on the performance and you'll receive follow up offers. But it's put out by the Government so it's not some dodgy spam site

Well this place has certainly been dead for a while. So lets get back into the swing of things.

If you are looking for a good priced night out, try the Easts Leagues Club. Cheap beer, good food and nice prices and if you are a member ($2 folks) you get discounts and earn rewards. Awesome place.

If you ever feel like barefoot bowls on a Sunday afternoon (more cheap boozeahold mixed with fun in the sun) then check out Coorparoo Bowls Club. $7 each for all you can bowl and a bit of tucker (hot dog/sausage sizzle type thing). Beer is awesomely cheap but be warned that they didn't have a wide range of booze while we were there - but it is just a bowls club. Find them on Harries Rd.

(I should start charging for this :P)
